These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Collections Connector (“Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Collections Connector is a technology platform that connects businesses with independent, licensed collection agencies. Collections Connector is not a collection agency, does not act as a debt collector, does not contact debtors, does not enforce payments, and does not provide legal advice.
All collection activity, debtor communication, negotiation, legal enforcement, and recovery efforts are performed solely by third-party agencies operating under separate agreements. Collections Connector is not a party to those collection agreements.
To use the platform, you must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of the business or agency you register. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Business users agree that each submitted claim will be truthful, lawful, and supported by accurate information. Business users are responsible for verifying that they have the legal right to pursue the claim and to share the related information through the platform.
Agencies using the platform must maintain all licenses, registrations, and legal authority required to operate in the jurisdictions they serve. Agencies are solely responsible for how they evaluate, accept, reject, and pursue claims.
Collections Connector provides software infrastructure, workflow tools, and claim-routing functionality only. The platform does not supervise or control agency methods, scripts, legal decisions, communications, or recovery timelines.
Use of the platform does not guarantee that a claim will be assigned, accepted by an agency, pursued, or recovered. Outcomes depend on the independent agency, the facts of the claim, and applicable law.
Businesses may be charged subscription fees for access to the platform. Agencies may be charged subscription fees and, where applicable, success-based referral fees tied to recovered claims.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, all platform fees are non-refundable, including unused periods, partial billing cycles, downgrades, cancellations, or unused claim capacity.
You may not use the platform to submit false claims, impersonate another person or business, interfere with agency relationships, access accounts without authorization, transmit malicious code, or use the platform as a tool for unlawful debt collection conduct.
All platform software, workflows, branding, design, and content made available by Collections Connector are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for limited rights to use the platform as intended, no ownership rights are transferred to users.
Your use of the platform is also governed by the Collections Connector Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of information as described in that policy.
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collections Connector disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collections Connector will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, business interruption, data loss, claim disputes, collection outcomes, or agency conduct arising from or related to use of the platform.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Collections Connector and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the platform, your submitted claims, your business practices, your agency conduct, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform at any time for violations of these terms, suspected fraud, misuse, legal risk, or any conduct that could expose the platform or other users to harm.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms should be reviewed by legal counsel and adapted to the governing law, venue, dispute resolution process, and corporate entity details you choose to use at launch.
